Cheryl Allen, MS, PMP, is a project management consultant and trainer specializing in practical project management processes for technology projects. She has more than 20 years experience on software projects and has implemented software project management processes and training for leading computer software and hardware manufacturers as well as government organizations. Her clients include Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, UC Berkeley, Women.com, California State Health and Human Services Agency, and California State Dept of Transportation.
She has led cross-functional project teams to accomplish information technology strategic planning, requirements definition, business case analysis, feasibility studies, and software development. As a project management consultant, she implemented project management best practices and scalable software development methodologies.
